Thanks for this opportunity, Gabrielle. I’m looking to pick up a position as an apprenticeship but conflicted on how many hours I can afford to give this while simultaneously running my own business due to taxes. Would you be able to outline the cautions of being an employee and a business owner when it comes to taxes? Are there any benefits to be aware of in that duality? Does CRA acknowledge a difference between an employee and apprentice (for a trade seal)?
